I need you to collect the papers from our offices. Can you help?
Yes, we can arrange for collection of the papers from you. There is a small charge for doing so. Back to top ^^
No, we have a Process Server in every part of the Country. This website is geared mainly towards the service of legal documents that we do in London. For a full list of places we cover please visit our other website www.pbcollection.co.uk (New window will open) Back to top ^^
Our standard fee includes attending the address and preparing and swearing an affidavit of service. If you have lots of exhibits then we would charge these at costs. Please contact us for a quotation Back to top ^^
How many visits will you make for the fee you charge?
Our Process Server will make a maximum of three visits for the standard fixed fee. If we have made three visits without catching your subject then we will contact you to discuss the case before proceeding further. Back to top ^^
We normally raise an invoice once the job has been completed for commercial clients. For private client and overseas client we ask for payment on account. We may raise interim invoices on cases that are ongoing. Back to top ^^
At what times will your Process Servers call?
We will call at whatever time is necessary to catch your subject. Many services we make are done outside normal business hours such as when someone has returned home from work. We would usually serve a business during normal office hours. Back to top ^^
Do you guarantee service will be made?
No, it's impossible for us to guarantee that your papers will be served. Approximately 90% of our cases are served. 5-6% will attempt to avoid service with the remaining percentage gone away. If your subject is evading us then we normally prepare an affidavit or statement setting out our attempts and that can support an application for substituted service. Back to top ^^
How do I instruct you to serve my documents?
It's very easy to instruct us. Click here for full instructions. Back to top ^^
Will I receive an affidavit of service?
We will prepare either a affidavit of service, certificate of service or a statement of service as required for the particular case we are dealing with. Back to top ^^
I don't know my subjects home address but I know where they work. Will you attend a works address to make service?
Yes, we would be able to attempt service at any address you have. Even if the Court papers have your subjects previous address on we can still attempt service at an alternative address. We also offer a tracing service to locate those that have moved. Back to top ^^
Why use a Process Server? Can I not just serve the papers myself?
As we are not connected to a case a Process Server will provide you with independent confirmation that a document has been served through either a signed witness statement, certificate of service or a sworn affidavit. We provide delivery of legal documents throughout the UK on a routine basis and are very experienced in the logistics and practicalities of accomplishing process service. Back to top ^^
